Kaffelstein is one of our steep-slope vineyards with around 60% steep slopes. It was first mentioned over 700 years ago. Earlier names such as "Römerberg" bear witness to a much longer history, linking the vineyard to the time of the Roman Empire. Today it is one of the sunniest vineyards in Franconia.

Satzenberg is our only monopoly vineyard. First mentioned in a document in 1318, it is still the only existing terraced vineyard in the Tauber Valley. In its long tradition, ownership of the vineyard has only changed twice. In total, over 16 km of dry stone walls have been built into the vineyard, which characterise its special microclimate.

Ebenrain is one of the few vineyards in the region with 100% shell limestone. The Spielmann family has been growing grapes here for four generations. The combination of soil, altitude and south-facing slope makes it the perfect place for growing Pinot Noir.
